The proposal of the Executive board on the introduction of DDS awards for contribution to demography or population research was accepted in principle in the discussion at the Annual Assembly 2025. In the coming period, this proposal will be further elaborated so that it is in the form necessary for the Assembly to vote on it. The plan is for the awards to be introduced from 2026.
