Remote detection of (de)population processes in Serbia

Depopulacija.rs platform is a result of the project “Remote detection of (de)population processes” In addition to traditional data sources that are used to express quantitative changes of population indicators in Serbia, the platform also relies on alternative sources (e.g. satellite images of nightlights, digital terrain model, GHS Population Grid datasets). The project is implemented with the financial support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Serbia, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
