Demografija is a scientific journal that covers the topics of broad-based population research, i.e. population science. It is published as a serial publication of the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Geography with annual publication since 2004.
The journal Demografija publishes original scientific papers, review papers, short or previous announcements and scientific polemics from the most broadly defined field of demography, other social sciences and disciplines that include population research, as well as interdisciplinary papers. The journal also publishes other articles of scientific interest such as reviews, book reviews, bibliographies, notes from scientific meetings, etc. Special issues with a guest editor(s) can also be published, as well as texts written by invitation that are dedicated to the chosen theme of the issue. Papers are published in Serbian and English, and by special decision of the editorial board, in other languages. The journal receives papers on a continuous basis
